Located in the Brent Cross Town regeneration project, The 108 was built to help grow baseball and softball in the UK, and features four HitTrax-enabled full-size batting cages and two bullpens.
The 108 approached Padel Build UK with the goal of expanding their sports and recreational offerings. With a tight installation deadline and the requirement to keep their venue fully operational throughout the build, the club needed a solution that balanced efficiency, minimal disruption, and long-term value.
The 108 ultimately chose to install padel courts. The choice was driven by the sport’s rapid growth, revenue potential, and its ability to attract new members while enhancing the club’s overall appeal.
From the outset, the Padel Build UK team prioritised delivering a seamless installation while ensuring the club could remain open for business. Through careful planning, coordination, and a highly efficient workflow, the courts were manufactured, painted, and installed in just seven weeks. The client described the entire process as smooth and amicable, praising the team’s professionalism, responsiveness, and constant engagement throughout every stage.
We gave them some tough requirements because we needed to stay open for business while they worked, but we also needed to build the courts as quickly as possible. They responded with larger work crews who worked late into the evenings and on weekends, all while ensuring our regular customer activity was never disrupted. We are confident we made the right choice when we selected Mark and his team to do the job.
Padel Build UK delivered a modern, high-demand padel facility on schedule and without any interruption to the club’s daily operations. The 108 successfully expanded its offering with courts that will attract new members, unlock new revenue streams, and strengthen the club’s long-term appeal.
